LeslieYOUNGEast Heddon (Formerly of Blyth) Died peacefully at home on Saturday 12th July 2025 aged 94 years.

Dearly loved Husband of Margaret. Much loved Dad to Robert, Margaret, Mayo and Eileen, adored Grandad to Claire, Helen, Ashley and Alex and Great-Granda to Oliver and Ralphie.

No black attire please.

Wear something bright and colourful when you meet for the service on Monday 4th August at 11:45am at Heddon Methodist Church, The Towne Gate, followed by a private cremation at West Road Crematorium.

No flowers by request please.

Donations if desired can be made in support of Cancer Research and Heddon Methodist Church.

Afterwards all family and friends are welcome back to The Swan, The Towne Gate NE15 0DR

A lovely happy man who brought so much joy to the life of my Mam (Martha).
They enjoyed banter and writing poems and Mam’s treasured possession was a wooden carving of two ducks which Les made and gave her on her birthday from he and Margaret.
Heaven will be a place of laughter with those two there.
